Nadav, my friend Gila who was visiting from LA, and I headed down to downtown San Diego on Saturday to take in the madness that is Comic-con. We didn't have tickets to go in to the convention, but Comic-con basically takes over the entire downtown area and everywhere you look you see
crazies Comic-con attendees who are decked out in "convention attire".
A description of Comic-con, from Wikipedia
"Originally showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television... and related popular arts, the convention has expanded over the years to include a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, animation, anime, manga, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels."

|I had to include this picture of Petco Park|
And now... to add "Actually Attending Comic-con" to our San Diego Bucket List. The goal for next summer is to actually purchase tickets before they sell out. :)
