Never Forget

World Trade Center, Post 9/11 Attack, 2001

It's difficult for me to find the words to describe how I feel about this horrific tragedy, but
I can say that I will never forget.
I can say that the men and women who passed away that day will never be forgotten.
I can say that the people who risked their lives that day are heroes.
I can say that this country will never be the same.
I can say that I am proud to be an American.

I can say a lot of of other things, but they're probably better left off of this very public forum. For now, I send my prayers out to all those who were affected by this tragedy. I wish them peace, solace, and the ability to always remember, but the strength to keep on living their day to day lives.

After a dedication ceremony today, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum will open to the public tomorrow. Nadav and I will be heading to New York City on Tuesday and visiting the 9/11 Memorial is #1 on our list of things to do in New York City. I hope to share pictures of our experience with you after we return.

i wrote a post yesterday about 9/11 and now i think about it, it is so hard to write on the subject. it is so hard to summon the words, how it makes you feel, especially when (like me) i can't even begin to know the loss that some people have suffered through it. but, it is good to remember. and it is always good to hope for peace! enjoy your trip to ny. i think it is lovely you will be going to the museum.
