It's the Happy Things

Well it's Thursday
and that means it's time for another....
Happy List

Soo here we go...
1. Ohh that new car smell
2. Attending my first scrapbook/card making party. It was SO much fun... more on that later
3. Realizing for the very first time that I can make a completely home cooked meal withOUT breaking a major kitchen appliance (yes that did happen the last time I attempted to cook). Then sharing that meal with the boy. :)
4. Helping one of the kids I work with ride an adaptive tricycle for the very first time, and then seeing the happiness and sense of accomplishment in his eyes. :) Priceless.
5. Going home and spending the weekend with my parents... I'm so thankful for them
6. Coming home after a weekend away to the boy... I'm so thankful for him

7. The smell of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven
8. Hanging up beautiful hamsas all over my house. They remind me of my childhood home and all the beautiful hamsas my mom had/has hanging on the walls :)
9. Meeting new blogger friends in real life hehe. I was super late to the SoCal blogger meetup but still had a great time meeting Julie, Meg, and Jacqueline. Check out their cute blogs :)
10. Watching tv shows or movies and realizing that they were filmed at UCLA (love my alma mater hehe)

Hope everyone is having a good week. This week was tough in a lot of ways, but it was a very strong reminder to just be thankful. Thankful for my freedom, for my family, for my love, and for every single blessing I've been given....

Wishing you all a happy Friday and a fun, fun weekend. I'm attending a good friend's wedding on Saturday and I am so so excited and happy for her. :)

It seems like you've got a lot going on and lots to be happy about! I've had a rough week too...it's funny how the toughest moments always have a way of showing you the best things in life. I have TONS to be thankful for too :)

P.s. I have that 'What I love most about my home' print hanging up in my home. I love it!

You have so much to be thankful for! #4 really makes me happy...as do chocolate chip cookies. I haven't made a match in forever (AT LEAST a year), but I think I might do some fun holiday baking this year, and, of course, chocolate chip cookies are always on my agenda.

Have a great time at the wedding! I work all weekend, but I don't mind too much. :)
