Inside Our Living Room

It's been awhile since I've done any updates on our renovations and it's definitely time I change that..

This is our Living Room Before
(and yes I am VERY aware that our house was in horrendous shape when we bought it hehe)

and this is our living room after....
We knocked down that awkward semi room divider planter thing..
Changed out the stinky, old, dirty carpet for new floors.
(Unfortunately, the new reddish color of the floors is a very sore subject in my life. I want light tan pretty floors... sighhh)
Purchased a new sliding glass door
Installed a new fan and lighting
Painted the walls
And knocked down the weird wall that leads into the kitchen, but more on the kitchen later

   Couch~Metro Decor
Rug~Overstock.com
White butler's tray~West Elm
Questions about where we purchased other items in the room? Email me :)

Our living room, and house, continues to be a work in progress. At this point though I'm getting more content with the way the living room looks so I figured it was the right time to share an update.

We're still looking for a long, modern, and sleek TV stand that can hide away the boy's 50 gaming systems (ok more like 7 gaming systems, but really 7 is a lot hehe). Any suggestions for where to buy an affordable and modern TV stand?

Have a wonderful day friends

xoxo,
Tamms

Wow, the new flooring alone makes a HUGE difference, and you've done SO MUCH MORE! Great work! My husband and I are excited that we "updated" our living room, and all we did was put up curtains haha.

This room is AWESOME.
Love the wooden beams in the ceiling--I love the kind of natural beauty of it rather than silly popcorn ceilings (seriously? ridiculous) and the plain smooth ceilings.
I think your reddish floor is beautiful--love the color contrasts :]
And that rug? My gosh. Love it.
Just WOW.
You guys are amazing.
