Friday night the boy was gone,
Oprah's life class was on,
and I had the sudden urge to bake some cookies.
(This urge is not a normal occurrence in my day to day life)
I went straight to my favorite recipe blog The Smitten Kitchen and decided on this recipe for crisp salted oatmeal white chocolate cookies. The cookies turned out soooooo good.
I picked out this recipe originally because I thought these cookies might be a *teensy* bit healthier because they are "oatmeal" cookies. After adding oohh almost 2 sticks of butter to the bowl, I became very aware that oatmeal does NOT equal healthy. Ooohh why does butter make things taste so good? Answer me Paula Deen, answer me pleaseeee.

And really now, if I can make them.... trust me, you can too =P
