What to Do on a Lazy Overcast Saturday Morning

Saturday morning I woke up early with the full intention of going to boot camp and getting my butt kicked.
Really, I did....
But then I got in my car and started driving, and instead of driving my butt to beach boot camp I drove my butt to Mission Bay where I was fully aware that there was no boot camp taking place.

Somehow the butt kicking Saturday morning tried into the type of morning that would involve three things:
quality time with myself, my camera, and the beach. I've learned that sometimes you just need to listen to your body, or at least that's what I told myself ;)

And I don't regret it one bit. Well I might regret it after Ray Wetterlund reads this. Sorry Ray? See you next week? Please don't kill me hehe. Pretty please?

Anyway here are some photos I captured on that overcast lazy Saturday morning at Mission Bay and Mission Beach. Hope you enjoy :)

Cute touristy family taking surf lessons ;)

I want a hammock in my backyard SO badly. Hammocks remind of Maui and thinking of Maui makes me oh so happy.

Beautiful street art can be found all over Pacific Beach :)

Gorgeous :)

Seriously, I'm so blessed to live a few minutes from such beauty :)

Have a great day my bloggy friends

Between reading your guest post at Lara's yesterday and seeing these pictures, I have major city envy! And at least you did something productive/ outdoors instead of excusing yourself from class for a couch potato sesh. xo

beautiful! Sometimes you need that alone. Despite Monterey's crazy weather, we are thankful to be able to see the ocean everyday too! you've inspired me to find beauty in the fog!

we've been getting some great fog in the mornings inland as well. Doesn't make for as great of pictures as these... but i'll still take the fog! i think that second picture is my favorite! eery

These photos are so dreamy. I love the hammock one! And I totally agree with you on taking some quality time to yourself, even if it means missing bootcamp! Haha sometimes you just need a break!

I love the bay. I live two blocks away from Fanuel park and love taking advantage of it. My puppy LOVES running around on the sand and the view always amazes me. SD is so beautiful, we are lucky :)
