The Beach, Good Food, and a Visit

On Sunday the parentals (who are not pictured because I am in "no shape or form" allowed to put them on the blog) came to visit, and we spent a lovely day in Encinitas

Encinitas is a sweet little beach town in Northern San Diego.
Encinitas has lots of beautiful homes and bungalows, cute boutiques, many yoga studios, and well.. hippies.
It's a good time.

We had lunch at Ki's Restaurant, a very yummy restaurant with an incredible ocean view.
I highly recommend it.

Hmm, not quite sure what's he's looking at.. cough.
Lagoon, train tracks, and beautiful houses in the background. In the foreground.. me, in what I would consider a pretty cute outfit hehe.

Incredible Encinitas sunset

Isn't San Diego beautiful?
I'm so thankful I get to live in such an incredible place.

Now I just need to get through the next 5 days of work so I can revel in two weeks off.
Hope you all get to enjoy some time off of work and/or school in the next few weeks.

xoxo,Tamms

As one who was born and raised in Encinitas, I loved this post. I've since moved away but my parents still live there. Thanks for posting a bit of my home for me!

Hello fellow San Diego blogger :)
Thanks for the comment this morning! Thought I'd return the favor!

Great pictures! Especially the sunset.
Yesterday, I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched the sun go down.
How lucky are we?? :)

Happy Monday!
