A New Year's Eve Kinda Look

What will you be doing on New Year's Eve?
We're planning on having a mellow night with family which is just fine with me.
I always end up feeling like New Year's Eve is associated with high expectations, and well those expectations often lead to stressful and disappointing nights.

However, if I was going somewhere fabulous Saturday night I would want to wear something sparkly and chic. Just like this...

new years

Happy New Year My Lovelies
Wishing you a year full of happiness, success, and health.

xoxo,
Tamms

Those are quite the pants! We're just hanging out with our neighbors (their kids will be in PJ's) so it will be low key.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Right?! NYE is always such a let down because there is this huge expectation of greatness. Plus, I'm such a grandma that sometimes nights IN are my favorite :-)

I feel 100% the same about New Years Eve - always such high expectations and somehow leads to disappointment. It's SO true!!!! That's why I'm super iffy about my plans. Hopefully it will work out ok and if not we can escape it easily! LOL thanks for stopping by & following - following you now too :) Happy New Year girl!

Wow! The sparkle pants would be such a bold and fun move! Maybe you should wear them just for your family :)

This is just another confirmation as to why we are friends....I hate making big plans on New Years Eve...it is way too overhyped and it is never as awesome as it is supposed to be...I would much rather have a mellow night with the boy :)

Well...I'm the lone dissenter I guess. I actually wish I had somewhere fun and fancy to go this New Years. It's been several years that I had a reason to dress up. You younguns are jaded right now .... but when the babies are grown up ... and you sit and watch the ball drop on tv for way too many years ....every once in awhile you'd like to have somewhere to go and dance. Yes....I love to dance and I could sooo rock this outfit....Don't laugh. Pants or maxi are me...(hate my legs)...croppish top and the ever so excellent tuxedo jacket....I DIE>
