I Made Pretzel Cookies with Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chips

Ok that was a slight fib,
I didn't put peanut butter chips in because I'm pretty allergic to nuts.
Sooo I just added lots of chocolate chips instead,
and the end result was bomb.

Sarah who posted the original recipe on her blog Sugar Cooking did use peanut butter chips, and well I bet her end result was even more bomb too...
(Bomb, just like the hives that would explode all over my body if I ate peanut butter chips. Haha, TMI?)

And I can't resist posting the very pretty picture Sarah posted on her blog
via Sugar Cooking
If you love chocolate chip cookies you MUST try this recipe.
The combination of the chocolate chips, sea salt, and and pretzels all mushed into a pretty cookie is so so good.

(Just a note: you REALLY need a good mixer for this recipe. My $7 Target mixer almost broke when I tried to beat the butter and sugars together. "Operation: Nadav I need a pretty red or green Kitchenaid Mixer" is well underway)

xoxo,
Tamms

TAMMMMYYYYYY!!!!!!!

You should link this up for the valentines day link up...I'm saying this because two years ago I got chocolate covered pretzels for valentines day...and I am traumatized. Traumatized meaning, I think about how good those things were ATLEAST once a month.

I am absolutely doing this recipe!!!

These look SO good - I love peanut butter and chocolate mixed together!

My Mom's also really allergic to nuts though, so I understand the whole hives thing - it's not pretty ;)

Oh My Gawd those look delish! Anything with pretzel + chocolate is going to be awesome, in my book.

Around Xmas, I followed a recipe where you basically just put a bunch of pretzels on a cookie sheet. Then place a hershey kiss on each one. Let the kisses melt in the oven, then take them out and put an M&M in the melted choc before it re-hardens.

Wow, they were like crack!

So of course I'll have to try this recipe. Maybe I can force myself to wait until *after* I spend a week in Thailand in a bikini. We'll see.....
