We spent the last day of our Santa Barbara Blogger Girl Weekend in Solvang.
A cute little Danish village about 45 minutes north east of Santa Barbara.
Solvang has cute touristy shops and lots and lots of yummy pastries.
Let's just say I really really needed to exercise after that weekend. =P
My version of an outfit post =P
Ebelskivers (pronoucned Abelskivers.. and yes we looked up the pronunciation=P), otherwise known as sweet and yummy pancake balls. Apparently, they're the "thing" to get in Solvang.
We're a diverse bunch
What? It's totally normal to wear beer hat. =P
After eating our way through Solvang we started our journey back to SoCal.
As we drove down the 5 freeway I decided we should pull off the freeway and find a spot to take some pictures on the beach.. because really now, is there any better place to take pictures than on the beach?
Nope, didn't think so hehe.
We ended up taking the Santa Clause Lane exit and ended up at this incredible beach...
Can you tell we like each other? Haha

We tried to spell LOVE. I failed.

Omg, Solvang is Jurgen and my place! Every time he comes with me to California we spend the weekend there. Paula's Pancakes and Ebelskivers are where it's at!
Looks like a perfect way to wrap up the weekend :)

Solvang is so fun, glad you experienced that little town.
And the beach you are on (is off the 101, the Santa Claus Lane exit you took), it's called Rincon Beach, Kevin Costner has a house there, maybe he was watching you gals horse around! :)

I wish I was young and cool enough to go on one of your trips...but Mom's aren't allowed I guess. I just want to know what you liked best: 1) Wine tasting or 2) bakery hopping?
see ya next week.
Ooooh, what fun. Solvang has been on my last california road trip excursions for a little while. This just confirms it! And I've always wondered where Santa Clause Lane leads! Haha.

I love Solvang! My grandparents used to live in Lompoc which is a hop, skip, and a jump from Solvang and I used to love to go and get some Aebleskeevers at that same place you went! Brought back memories after reading this. Glad you had a great trip.
I love that you take time to do fun things with your friends! And this little getaway looks so perfect. Also, it's making me hungry for a danish...
