What Happens When Bloggers Go On Girl Trips

So Kai, Kelsey, Olivia and me decided we needed a girly getaway..
and we knew that Santa Barbara would be the perfect place to go.

Early Saturday morning Olivia and I drove our little butts (ok Olivia drove her car, I sat in the passenger seat heh) up to Orange County to meetup with Kelsey and Kai.

We stopped for bagel deliciousness and then made our way up to Santa Barbara.

We made it to Santa Barbara, and checked in at the Mason Beach Inn
(which if you're curious.. was cute, clean, and in a great location)
Then we met up with my little brother and Olivia's friend for lunch and a little shopping on State Street.
Shopping lost its appeal after a couple of hours, and then wine tasting sounded muuuuuuuuch better.
Annnnnd let me tell you, it felt muchhhhh better

That awkward moment when some guy wants to know why you're taking a picture and why he's in it

Post wine tasting... can you tell? hehe

Maybe I'm a light weight (ok I'm a serious light weight) and I called it quits on alcohol for the night after we left wine tasting.
(Read: I try, but I can't keep up haha)

Yaaa wine tasting was so much fun that I felt the need to take a nap before we went out again.
Either way the girls woke me up from my nap and pretty much informed that they would never talk to me again if I didn't get my ish together and go out.
I decided the rest of the weekend would be kind of lame if they stopped talking to me so I dragged my butt out of bed. =P
I'm glad I did though, we had an awesome time.

Yaa the fur came out for the night

Yup, that water was mine. Haha.

Sooo.. if you couldn't tell I pretty much heart my blogging friends,
they're kind of awesome.
I'm think that being a blogger is a very special thing,
and it's a thing that should be celebrated.

That's why I planned the first SoCal Blogger Meetup, and it's also why I started planning the next one.
(These events of course couldn't have happened without the help of some amazing blogger friends)
Over the past couple of weeks, I've received some emails from bloggers asking me how they should go about planning a meetup in their area, and whether I had any advice.
My advice?
Just do it.
Don't think about it too much..
Write a little blog post about your idea, and I assure you...
People will respond, and they'll be excited to help plan. :)
Everything will just work out from there

SoCal Blogger Meet-Up

Stay tuned for Santa Barbara Day #2 later this week =P

Wishing you all a lovely week

xoxo,
Tamms

I can imagine that one of the best parts of a blogger trip is that they don't judge you for taking pictures everywhere you go :-)
