A couple weekends ago, you know before I was too sick to get off of the couch or go one minute without blowing my nose, Nadav and I decided to take advantage of our Sea World passes and spend a few hours checking out sea life.
It was a really lovely afternoon, and I decided I like Sea World best when I'm not watching shows.
Watching the animals jump and do tricks kinda depresses me a bit, ok let's be honest... watching Shamu swim around a tank bums me out a little too, but I decided the latter is not so bad. It's kind of mesmerizing actually...
Read more about my previous Sea World "shenanigans" here =P
(Trust me if you haven't yet read my last Sea World Post, it's uhm... an experience.. I recommend that you read it)
But yes,
the point is I realized I really did enjoy Sea World a few weekends ago,
and no.. there were no birds that attacked me or pooped on me this time.

Sometimes I think I could just sit and watch whales swim around for hours. They're incredible.
He makes me smile
This was our second time at Sea World, but our first time checking out the Wild Arctic animals... and they turned out to be my favorite part of Sea World.
The polar bears were beautiful
This walrus was pretty much the ugliest animal I've ever seen... and that kinda made it my favorite haha
There's something about being surrounded by such beautiful, large, and incredible animals that just makes me think about how insignificant of a role I play in this big, big world. I guess it's good to be put in check every once in awhile...

I love Sea World. Looks like you guys had a great time... those polar bears are cute!
oh my goodness! So jealous! I would love to go there :)
I might be taking a trip to San Diego in April to visit a friend and we decided if do go we have to go to Sea World. My husband has never been and I haven't been since I was a kid. While I don't really agree with the captivity thing, it is neat to see these animals that I would never see otherwise. My favorite are the sea otters. So cute!
I just might have to check out sea world while i'm there :)
I have never been to a sea world before! We have the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, but I'm sure that's got nothing on Sea World - love the photos!

I agree the shows are not my favorite either... I'm a big fan of the manatees. They're such cute little sea cows!
Pictures look amazing. I'm a big fan of sitting in-front of the TV and watching random animal documentaries, so kinda jealous at you for being able to see them up-close.
You and your boyfriend are adorable! and yes, it's really about the little things (or big things) that makes life so wonderful!
I haven't been to Sea World in ages. I know it's changed quite a bit in 10 years.
Hope your doing well Tammy :)

Sea world has always been something I want to see! I think it stems from my "Free Willy" obsession when I was a kid ;) haha
