The Creative Type(s)

Surrounding myself with creative and driven people is kind of my thing.
Consequently, this also means that Creative Connections is also kind of my thing.
Creative Connections’ purpose is to bring together creative women to network, inspire, and just make some friends. I think it’s a pretty great concept.

Farra, Olivia, Stephanie and I were lucky to attend a sweet Creative Connections event at West Elm a few weeks ago.
(Have I mentioned my love for West Elm before, because I am obsessed with that store. When Nadav and I were first fixing up our place I used to go in there 2-3 times a week for inspiration, and well.. to feel depressed that I couldn’t afford the pretty things I wanted. That's when prowling Craigslist started taking over my life. Hey a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do)

Isn't she the cutest?
Lexi of Leaf it to Lexi showed us how to make some sweet succulents arrangements
This is what happened after we convinced Stephanie she had to try the ridiculously good ahi tuna. It was her first time trying raw fish... hehe

There were so many stylish ladies there that night

Note to self... do not wear a pink bra with a black shirt when you know you will be in photos haha

The four of us had a great time.
If you ever hear about a Creative Connections event in your area I think you should definitely check it out. =)

How fun! I'll have to check them out. I'm the same way when it comes to Z Gallerie. I just go in and sit on their fantastic couches dreaming about someday having them.

This looks so great! I hope they do another one! I love West Elm, even though I can't really afford it. All I really have from them is a bath rug haha.

That looks like fun! And I've done the bra and black shirt thing too - except it was a white bra and black dress for my high school grad. There were about a hundred pictures and it was WAY more visible than in your picture! LOL. I learned my lesson...
