My Happy Place.. I Mean List

Not going to lie, I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed this week (read: I’m on my period),
and writing this little happy list? Well it's really helped with that whole overwhelmed thing.
Making this list has forced me to slow down, and appreciate the little things that are oh so sweet about this life I live.
All together now….. Ommmmmmm
(Just kidding teheh)

Now about that list..
1. Coming home from work, sitting on the couch, and just enjoying the quiet. No TV, no computer, and no phone… ahhhhh
2. This picture. That’s Nadav holding his nephew for the first time ;) (and we get to babysit that yumminess on Sunday, I’m so excited)

3. Textured walls that just happen to be the perfect place to take 5000000 photos.

4. The awesome responses I received from so many of you on my occupational therapy blog post! Thank you! It means so much to know that I am inspiring others Smile
5. Sushi, but not just any sushi my friends. Sushi from Ikiru Sushi in Point Loma. It’s the kinda place where we sit at the bar, hang out with our favorite sushi chef, and don’t bother opening the menu. Instead, the sushi chef just makes us whatever he thinks we will like, and I assure you.. we always like everything.

6. A box of Godiva chocolates I bought “for Nadav” (Remind me to never buy a box of Godiva chocolate “for Nadav” a few days before my period starts. Let’s just say that box is half empty now, and I can’t blame it on Nadav.).
7. La Jolla Cove.. there are no words

8. That Oh Em Gee I just knocked over a chair in a crowded restaurant and caused a ruckus face. Haha

9.This whole blogging community. It truly amazes me. I have met the most wonderful people through this little blog of mine and I am so so grateful for that.
10. Jason Mraz, he just "rubs me the right way" (cough wink wink haha). No really, I've been playing his older songs on repeat in the car... and I can't seem to get sick of them

Hope you have a happy day,
and I just wanted to thank all of you for bringing so much sweetness into my life

I love old Jason Mraz stuff too! I saw him live at Michigan State before he was super well known. Then I saw him at a free concert (in SD? Or somewhere close by) last year....and realized that his old stuff is still the best {with the exception being "I'm Yours."}

Yep, I've been feeling that overwhelmed feeling for the past few weeks (spring break fever?). This was the perfect post for today...I'm really going to try to pull from the positive today since Thursdays are often so difficult (one day away from Friday!!).

I agree that the blogging community is one-of-a-kind and it's so neat to create this bonds on the interwebs. :)
Oh, and Jason Mraz is also one of my faves. Such a dreamboat.
