Let me just put this out there, I am kind of a horrendous painter.
Seriously, when Nadav and I moved into our house I tried to help paint the walls and somehow there was always more paint on my clothing and hair than on the walls. I tried to blame it on the paint brushes, but I think it was just me... oh well ;)
At some point, I convinced Nadav to hire a painter, now we have pretty walls (woop woop).
Happy endings are always nice hehe
Anyway, when I found out about Paint N Vineyards I was a little hesitant about the whole painting thing, but the "vineyards" part of the company name helped ease my hestiation. That's why Friday night I met up with some of my favorite bloggers for a little painting and vine-ing at Paint N Vineyards...and it was SOOO much fun.
We had such a great time learning how to paint a featured painting at Paint N Vineyards. Our instructor provided us with easy step-by-step instructions. Added bonus: all paint, brushes, apron, canvas, and easel are included.
Marie from 12 Signs Wine made sure our cups were filled throughout the entire class.
She has 12 different wines, and each wine is representative of a different zodiac sign. I'm a cancer, hoollllaaa.
There were lots and lots of yummy things to snack on, and these cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes?? I seriously died (and ate way too many). They were so moist, the icing was the ish, and they were just sooooo good.
Andrea and her masterpiece
Jeff, our instructor was so awesome. He broke down each step, was so patient with our excessive wine drinking questions, and really made us feel so comfortable.
We celebrated Kelsey's birthday with a little bundt cake
Am I the only person who thinks of the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" every time I hear the words "bundt cake"? Just sayin...
One of the best parts of the night? Finding out that each of our paintings turned out beautifully, but they were all a little different. SO MUCH FUN.
