Last Sunday I disconnected, for realsies.
No computer, no twitter, and *gasp* no Instagram.
Sunday was one of those days I set aside for Nadav... and it was glorious.
ArtWalk San Diego was so so cool.
San Diego, and specifically Little Italy, seems to come alive for ArtWalk.
San Diego, and specifically Little Italy, seems to come alive for ArtWalk.
A major street is completely closed off, and art, musicians, and crowds of people are everywhere.
There's something about a street festival that just makes me happy inside. I love seeing the members of a community step outside and come together for good times. It's nice eh?

I think it's wonderful that you were able to step away from technology and fully enjoy your day. It's so important to do every once in a while.
Oh I will, Tammy. I will LOVE every minute on the subway :)
Looks like fun!
looks like fun!
I am sure it wasn´t easy to un-plug, right?! Sometimes it´s hard to imagine but then you really enjoy it and to me it feels like I get my own inner battery all charged up with new ideas!
I love those days and quality time with my guy!
Sure you had a great time, the photos show :)
xoxo
Hi there, just randomly came across your blog. I also live in San Diego and went to the art walk on Sunday. I LOVE San Diego too, so it is nice to read through your blog and see the same familiar spots in the city that stole my heart. :)
the fries in the background of the burger photo...yum.
This looks and sounds like a great event! Add that to my to do list for next year.
And kudos for completely unplugging. Not easy!
thanks for the photo credit my dear! and i'm so proud of you for disconnecting :]
This seems like so much fun! Don't you love those days when you disconnect? It really is so freeing. Might I add, those french fries look so good my mouth is watering!!
We just had our arts festival in OKC that sounds really similar and I missed out unfortunately. Looks like a great weekend! I can't tell if it's my screen and poor lighting in the room I'm in but some of the photos look blurry and distorted….just wanted to let you know unless it's just me…which it totally could be. haha.
SO fun! I love San Diego. I've only visited twice, but I miss it all the time!

I loved that you disconnected, my husband and I need that every once in a while and it is just amazing. I LOVE Art Walk! We missed it this year, but going to the farmer's market in Little Italy is one of my favorite things about San Diego.

Are those garlic fries? They look amazing!
Ok, three things. First, I am so jealous that you live in San Diego. Second, I'm jealous that your Little Italy looks like so much fun. Third, those fries look to die for! Do you think they'd send well over email?? Haha
