I've had my Love bicycle for a few years and have waited not so patiently for Nadav to get his own bike. You know, I pictured us taking long romantical rides along the boardwalk and maybe stopping for some frozen yogurt along the way. =P
On Saturday afternoon Nadav finally found the "right" bike on clearance. We took it home, I did happy dances, and he put it together as quickly as I couldnag him to do it. We took our bikes down to Pacific Beach and my romantical bike ride dreams came true (except for the frozen yogurt part.. that will just have to wait until next time, which will hopefully be tonight =P).

Ahh - going on bike rides is on of my all time favorite things to do! LOVE :)
I had a little cruiser bike, but it got stolen...whomp whomp :( But for Christmas Adam & I got mountain bikes and I can't wait for us to put them to use this summer!

just yesterday i was saying we have to get something to cart the kids around in while we ride our bikes. we haven't ridden for 6 years (that's Tate plus 1 year for the belly bump). i miss it! looks like you had a great time and many more rides to come!

Ahhh - I have the same bike. Except my townie is neon green, with a basket on the front. So comfortable to ride. Looks like you had a lovely weekend. Such great pictures :)

my boy and i are moving 19 blocks from the beach in santa monica this weekend (yikes!) and we cannot wait to get bikes!!! this settles it...its a must!

Ugh, I want a bicycle so badly! Not sure there's much space for bike riding/survival on a bike in NYC.. but I have always thought it to be sweet and romantic to go bike riding with boys too :) And just a fun means of transportation! Super cute pictures, Tammy--you are a true California girl :)
We've had bikes for two years now and have only used them a couple of times. I am SO excited to move and be able to bike along the beach though. Much prettier than city streets where I live now!

Bike rides with D are quickly becoming one of my favorite pastimes! I wish we had a boardwalk to bike on...
I wish we had easy to access places for bike rides. We just have trails which means no leisure riding and no cruisers. But at least I can live vicariously through yours. :)
