Thankfully.

A lesson from I learned from this week's happy list:
It's easy to start feeling a little sorry for yourself... but look around you and pay a little attention to the sweet things that surround you. Chances are you'll start feeling better soon.

A Happy List...

1. My bike, she just makes me smile.
 2. The HBO show "Girls". It's so deliciously awkward, has such good writing, and is just so damn good. (Have I mentioned that I thoroughly enjoy awkward television? Cuz I do heh)
3. Taking new passport photos.. just another step closer to taking that much anticipated big trip.
4. Going to Sea World twice in one weekend. I'm starting to love that place, and in case anyone is wondering.. The new ride at Sea World, Manta, is really fun. (and yes we did rode it 3 times in a row)
Watching the fireworks from Shamu Stadium. See one of the whales in the left corner?
5. The return of So You Think You Can Dance.. no joke it's one of my favorites. I even went to the So You Think You Can Dance concert last year and it was wonderfullll.
6. Realizing that the end of the school (work) year is in sight, even if I have to work until the end of July.
7. Spending long days at the pool with my man. (Fun fact: Did you know that the Mission Bay Hilton allows locals to hang out at their *beautiful* pool? Well they do... just buy a drink and some food and they'll love you.. and try not to be obnoxious or drink a little too much because then they will not love you =P)
Cough, clearly I am still working on that tan =P
8. Early mornings. I know, I know I'm that person that seriously annoys all you non-morning people, but I really love mornings. Sitting on the couch, sipping coffee, and just enjoying the quiet makes me so happy.
9. Seeing my parentals three weekends in a row, letting them take me out for a enjoying a nice meal with them =P, and seeing them so happy about their kitchen renovation. They've waited a long time for a new kitchen and I'm really happy for them.
10. Summer summer summer timeee (thank you Will Smith for an excellent song I like to sing throughout the entire summer)

Happy Thursday Friends =)

Every time I read your blog I get jealous I don't live in SD! The weather, the weather, the weather. I hate the humidity heerrreee....ah! And that thing about the Hilton, I will treasure that nugget of knowledge for a long time.

That's a pretty great list! Maybe I need to make one for myself today...I could use a pick-me-up. And I too love early mornings for the EXACT same reasons.

Love your list! And honestly, I think I need to make one. This week has been a little rough and you're so right ... it's easy to start wallowing but there are so many things to be thankful about.

Happy Thursday, friend!

I love how you call your bike "she" :)
I am convinced that if we ever hung out IRL that we would go on the best bike ride EVER!
Just saying.

Enjoy your day, girl!

I've been reading for a little bit now and didn't know you worked in the school system! Are you a teacher?

Yay for the school year finishing up and working on your tan with long days at the pool. Nothing is better than being by the water!

I'm moving back to SD in August and I LOVE reading your blog and making a list of things to do when I get back. I had no idea you could hang out at the Mission Bay Hilton pool...I know what and the bf are doing when I can call myself an SD resident again :)

Great tip about buying a drink & hanging out at a hotel pool! I bet the Mission Bay Hilton is awesome. This is going on my to-do list for the fall!

I just watched a few episodes of New Girls last night and it's really good! I feel a little old....like they are a slightly different generation than me, but I can still relate in some ways :).

Great list! I'm hoping to go to Sea World this summer.

Everyone's talking about Girls. Wish I could watch it, but I don't have cable and just can watch what's on Hulu.

Aaand I really wish I could be a morning person. Brian is and wakes up with an extreme amount of energy I can't even mimic with coffee. Luckies.

The show Girls is amazing. My friend and I just started watching it. My favorite line to far: "Her parents didn't support her and she had 3 abortions..right in a row.. and no one went with her."

SUMMER!

Your happy lists make me happy :)

Also I really need to get on to watching Girls. I meant to watch the premiere and then I kept missing it week after week. But now that Game of Thrones and Mad Men are ending, I'll basically have nothing to watch so I'll be able to catch up and not have to wait an entire week for the next episode lol.
