I Need Your Help & Sweet Links

So I'm in need of some face moisturizer.
I've used Philosophy Hope In A Jar. I liked it, but the boy says it smells.
I also tried Korres Wild Rose, and really liked it. The boy... well he said I smelled like chemicals.
I even tried Cetaphil and thought it did the trick. The boy? Well you can guess what he had to say about that.

Now my very smart and savy blogger friends, I am very confident that you will have some great moisturizer recommendations for me. Sure, I care what the boy has to say, but honestly I am most concerned about how my skin feels and reacts to the moisturizer, not how the moisturizer smells. (Sorry babe, I love you but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do).

On another note, my 1 year blogiversary and my birthday are both next month and I want us to celebrate. I think a big giveaway is in order. Do you have a shop/blog and want to contribute to the giveaway? Let me know, I think it's going to be a good one. =)

And now some fun stuff around the blogosphere that has tickled my pickle.

You can't go wrong with a classic: Oil of Olay. I've been using it for years and so has my mom. I've also used Clinque's moisturizer (the yellow one) on occasion and liked it.

Are we talking for day or for night? For day I use the Josie Maran spf 40 at night I use either Argan Oil, my Truth Art Beauty blend or Oak and Qucerin from Korres. None of which smell bad :)

I've got sensitive skin, and I've found Clinique's Youth Surge to be a good combination of quality and price. I'd think the day cream is a little thick for your climate (it's perfect for England), but the night cream is nice. I don't notice a smell... and I'm fairly picky. Good news is, you can take Nadav to the counter to smell it before you buy it!

I love Eucerin face moisturizer. It's light, not greasy and it's SPF 30 :)

Hope in a Jar does have a bit of a smell to it, but I still love it! It's by far my favorite moisturizer I've ever tried. The boy hasn't commented, but maybe my Pomegranate Hempz lotion covers it up enough that he doesn't notice. :)

I use Bio-Oil as my moisturizer. I am not a fan of putting something on right before my make up so I just use it before I go to bed!

My dermatologist recently recommended that I start using Aveeno daily moisturizer. I was hesitant because this isn't even specifically formulated for your face, but oh my gosh, I love it so much and I'll never turn back! It's so hydrating but doesn't feel oily, and it's super cheap and natural. Wins all around!

I have used Clinique Dramatically Different Gel for years, but just recently switched to Say Yes to Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturizer. The Clinique has no scent, but the Say Yes smells... amazing. I love it.

You could always try unrefined coconut oil... Ashley swears by it and I've tried it here and there. Organic, natural, non-smelly.

Also - I love those braided hair dos, but I can never do them! I think I'm missing the braiding gene or something. I try over and over and all I get is a good arm/shoulder work out! haha

Your glasses are adorable. As for moisturizer, I reccommend 'Renew' from Melaluca. No smell, non-greasy and is technically a body lotion so you can put it anywhere. My acne has always been super bad, but since using 'Renew' it has almost gone away!!

Love your blog, Tammy! Try Aveeno Smart Essentials with SPF 30. I use it on my face and neck every day and have been thrilled with the results. It goes on light and makes my skin glow. I highly recommend it. -Shaine

I swear by Clarins--I have the day and night versions. It's worth the extra $$$ because it smells divine, doesn't make you break out, and literally moisturizes like I've never seen. Email me if you need more info! xoxo {av}

I use kiss my face sunscreen moisturizer in the morning and organic coconut oil (just any old jar from the grocery store). Its absolutely amazing. For the coconut oil, since its solid, just press your figures to it and your body heats enough to melt a little. You barely need any, and its a great hair mask too!

p.s. I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog and would love if you could check it out!
