I love a cute bikini like any other Cali girl, but there's something about wearing a one piece that makes me feel uhm... a little more comfortable in my own skin.
There's also that whole, not having to worry about my bikini top moving the "wrong way" every time a wave crashes near me thing.
And for fun, a little roundup of extra cute one-pieces. For the record, I would like the two suits on the bottom right in my closet immediately.

I pretty much live in sandals all summer.. Rainbows flip flops to be specific, but that's not to say I can't appreciate some cute wedges and saltwaters. I would love to get my hands on a pair of red Madewell saltwaters, but apparently they're out of stock. Clearly, this is bad for my feet, but excellent for my bank account. =P
And just for fun... a picture of me in Cabo wearing my very favorite summer dress
Hope you have a warm and relaxing weekend

I am dying for a one piece but they've never fit me well due to my freakishly long torso. I LOVE that one from Anthro.
I'm lovin' one pieces this year and I'm happy they're popular {makes this baby weight look better ;)} I got an adorable one from Old Navy!
I am a huge proponent of one pieces. Yes to all of the above!
i'm so glad summer is practically here!!! i'm a little hesitant of the one-pieces only because i have a giant chest for my body shape, butttt i see that they're starting to include underwire cups more often, so maybe, just maybe, i'll give one a chance this season :)
also, you look adorable in that summer dress :)
Love a cute, vintage-y one piece. The black one from above is my favorite!
i bought my very first one piece this summer... since i've had a baby, i can never show off my belly again... but the one piece actually works out well
I love all of them! I just bought American eagle sandals like the blue ones in your picture. So cute!
I just nominated you for a blog award, and I'm super excited about it. Check it out:

I'm definitely a one-piece girl. I feel so much more comfortable in them and I think the retro ones can be cute and sexy. The second-to-last on the bottom is one of my current faves, too. :)

I got my red saltwaters off amazon for way cheaper!!!
i love one pieces, too.. but the ones i've tried on just dont seem to work.. i have like a freakishly long torso and freakishly short legs..
soooo ill be in a bikini all summer (:
now lets plan a beach trip, please!
if you could get a tan belly through one pieces... i would be all over it. they're so elegant! love that they're in style.
that yellow suit is so cute! i think i'd fall over trying to get it on though. haha, and i want ALL of the sandals. please and thank you. :)
the green suit is the CUTESTTTT!!
rainbows are a summer staple for sure! love those colorful wedges. hmm...might have to do a little shopping this weekend...
I used to hate one piece swimsuits, though that could have partially been because I wasn't allowed to wear a two piece for the longest time. strict parents can be weird. now i love them! it helps that they've been making them cuter and cuter every year. and especially with 50s inspired ones, I am all over those. Love the sandals too! That's basically all i have in my closet because I pretty much wear them year round. it's probably a good thing I live in California for that reason.
The second last suit is gorgeous. And the wedges, amazing!Love the whole collection!
