To Grow.

1. Strive to put love and passion into everything I do.
2. Strive to have fun with *almost* everything I do. (ok gotta be realistic here, I had fun meeting some nice ladies at traffic court yesterday.. but spending the morning there? Not so fun.)
3. Exercise 4-5 times a week. I'm already doing this but I want to maintain it and remember to have fun while exercising.
4. Stop making excuses (See Goal Number #3)
5. Cook 4 times a week
6. Make at least 1 special meal for me and Nadav. He deserves it.
7. Think positively, act positively, bring positivity to others
8. Smile. (See Goal #7)
9. Get outdoors. I mean really, I live a couple of minutes from the beach and I should be there at least 4-5x a week, even if it's just for a walk or a sweet, sweet bike ride.
10. Spread love and kindness, always.
11. Be more patient, and less judgmental (See Goal #10)
12. Call my parents and my brother.
13. Procrastinate less (sorry Hollie =P)
14. Dream bigger.
15. Take Nadav out on dates. He deserves a little spoiling too.
16. Stop and smell the flowers.
17. Follow my heart.
18. Do my laundry (cough regularly).
19. Stop letting dishes hang out in the sink.
20. Master a headstand at yoga.
21. Er, just go to yoga (wink wink)
22. Play more.
23. Sign up for the Rock N' Roll Half Marathon (gasp.. who am I?!) Update: Signed up at 8am. So horrified excited.
24. Go to Sea World at least twice a week because.. it's just a good time and I'm mesmerized by Shamu. Also, it's kind of the most wonderful thing to do on a Sunday evening with the man I love.

What are your goals? I would love to hear.

Hope you have a sweet day

Stop inspiring me with your goals! My big one right now is to work out!

These are so great! I need to make a list for myself as well! Maybe once I get through my big move then I can start exercising again! Good luck with all your goals!

Your goals about exercise, yoga, and dreaming bigger struck a cord with me.

I really need to create a goals list and a bucket list. Sometimes it's too easy to become stagnant!

I love your list. You've inspired me to make my own. :)

i posted about goals today as well. and the "getting outside" one is so, so important. we both live so close to the beach, why not spend mor time there?!

great goals!

You can totally do the Rock and Roll half. I'm not going to say it was fun but you can do it and you will love yourself afterward!

Love your list. I'm in Africa for the summer, so my list includes 1) learning to carry something on my head 2) learning to use the new SLR camera I bought 3) Learning how to type with the correct fingers (I know, it's shameful that I never learned) 4) Notice the beauty in the streets rather than being distracted by trying not to step in mud or garbage 5) Enjoying my time here and not wishing it away in anticipation of returning home.

I love this list and I love you! So inspiring! You will kill the half marathon girl, get it!

oh i LOVE your goals, tammy! seriously, i think that most of mine are quite similar..

laundry, anyone? those pesky dishes? bahaha TWINS!

BUT, my goals starting next week are:

1. wake up 4:45 so i CAN get to the gym before work.. then work out and cry, because it's too early to do either one

2. laundry- do it when i have ONE load- not seven

3. try to plan more disney dates- we've had our passes since christmas, and have been.... ONCE! gah! it's hard when Justin is working SO MUCH to get our house done, work on the side, and work his normal job.. but i feel its important to carve out some time for our relationship, whether he agrees or not! maybe a standing sunday night date to dland is in order...

4. juice.. i've been doing "ok" with eating, but i haven't busted out my juicer in MONTHS.. it's usually just the blender and me and some bananas. But i need to juice more, because i LOVE how it makes me feel...

5. just let go... i am SO BAD at letting things go: fights, strange thoughts, my opinion, silly things i cannot change, etc. I need to learn to breathe and let it all go (not all, because sometimes, i am right, and aint no way i can back down when i KNOW i'm right).. but when i am not so sure i'm right, or cannot do/fix anything in the situation, i NEED to accept it and move on..

oye.. so basically i'm going to use this comment as a post! bahaha this was a great post- i think setting goals is so important, especially when they are so publicly written down... like, now i can bug you: "have you taken nadav on a date this week?" "how was sea world?" "girl, that laundry pile is TOO BIG" "umm... if you instagrammed that shit, i wouldn't have to ask.." bahahaha

i just LOVE you so much! have the happiest of hump days... (i'm assuming the humping is a-ok, since it's not on the goal list..and yes, i just went there.. please, let's talk about sex, BABY. let's talk about you and me...)

....aaaand things just got weird.

Great goals, can I just copy yours and replace Nadav's name with Matt's? haha ;)

My big big one right now is to workout 4-5 times a week. I'm getting there!

I am a goal and list FREAK! you should see my daily/monthly/weekly lists. Some are to do lists, some are goals, my five/ten year plan. I admit, I am a little over board, but I like having some sort of roadmap for my life. It makes me feel like a have control. Do I have control issues?...... noooo... not me! ;-)

Great goals! Great job on working out so well! I need the same goal!

Great goals! While the length of this list is overwhelming for me, I have been throwing around the idea of "perfecting" 2-3 goals per month. I figure that sort of makes them habits?

I'm SO excited you and Olivia signed up for the half! I definitely want to virtually train with you ladies since I'm itching to start half training again!

i love this!! i love that you guys go to seaworld on sundays...that is such a cute little tradition!! when is the marathon? there is NO way i could do that. totally admire you for that!!

Love this list, so inspiring. I wish I could make it a goal to exercise 4 times a week, but I'd be lucky to even do that once. Maybe I should make a goal of exercising twice a week then? Baby steps. At least I cook healthy dinners almost every single night.

I think it is awesome you go to Sea World so often! I need to get tickets.

holtkamp said...

great goals! and congrats on signing up for the half...there's no turning back now :) it will be hard at times but extremely rewarding - i know you'll do great!

my biggest goal right now is finding balance being a new mom and of course losing the rest of this babt weight :)

This is a great list! #19 is a huge one for me too. Ugh I am so bad at letting the dishes pile up and then my husband follows my lead. My lazy butt lets the clean ones sit in the dishwasher, taking up the real estate that the dirty ones need. SO silly. I've started to tell him that if he empties the washer I will refill it. I just like to go to be with a clean kitchen but it doesn't happen often.

I did a Summer "Bucket" List - but I love the idea of a GROW list! :)

I love these goals! I love number 20 and 21 :) After my last birthday I made a list of 24 things I want to do before I turn 25, and I'm already crossing some off!! I love lists and setting personal goals, so this post is just fabulous. Here's my life of 24 before 25 : )

Liz said...

I love this!!! I just read Ashley's post and I am going to make my own set of goals!! Yours are so inspiring. And yes get your butt to the beach are you kidding me?!!

Great list! We have quite a few things that we share as goals! And, I procrastinate WAY TOO MUCH. I thought that was a personal\mental problem....Now, I realize that I may be normal. ;) Yay. -Jessica

Your goals are inspiring! I especially love *try to have fun with everything that i do*

because life should be about having fun as much as you can!!

my goals:

try and approach every new situation with a positive attitude

don't regret anything

workout at least 2-3 times a week, to start!

smile at strangers more, especially cuties! (you never know what's going to happen)

embrace change

Try to actually enjoy waking up early and getting ready for the day!!! - this one is going to be tough, i do not know how you do it (i'm not a morning person at all, nevere been before either)
