When my Gila-Joon comes to visit from LA I like to show her a good time because I'm trying to convince her she needs to move to San Diego she's wonderful. We had so much fun this weekend and I am so thankful for a friendship like ours. =)
Saturday morning we got our butts out of the house and made our way to Torrey Pines State Beach for an early hike. Yes, we stopped every two minutes so I could take pictures, and little kids were rushing past us but that was AOK with me.
After the hike we picked up Nadav, grabbed some lunch, and made the most out the beautiful day. It turned out to be one of my very favorite beach days this summer.
And then I got to show off the best towel ever. Yup.

I definitely have that towel too! It was a gift from my mother in law and has made a few appearances on my blog :)
For starters, that towel is hilarious. And your pictures are wonderful. Who knew that taking pictures could be used as an excuse for stopping every few minutes on a hike? Genius.
LOVE Blacks Beach & Torrey Pines State Park...The cliffs are amazing! We went to Blacks (the non-nude part!) on a weekday and there was no one on the beach...like a deserted paradise. We're so lucky to live in SD :)
