On our way to dinner Nadav and I stumbled upon this awesome chalkboard wall on the Alibi Bar in Hillcrest. Passersby can pick up a piece of chalk and fill in their dreams and aspirations.. or ridiculous drunken thoughts (and yes, I had to carefully consider which photos to include on this post because there were some seriously funny inappropriate comments on that wall).
I love that the wall made me consider my dreams, and made me pinpoint the dream I really wanted to put out into the universe. =P
- Inspire
- Swim with dolphins (Cancun!!)
- Get married and have kids (and grandkids)
- Bring happiness to those around me
- Write and publish a book (Yes I just admitted that to myself and to you! =P)
- Show my family and Nadav how much I love them each day
- Travel
- Go to Disney World
- Find the beauty and creativity in every day
- Run a half marathon
- Taste the rainbow (just kidding)
- Pass on my love, passion, and values to my future children
- Hold onto and grow the love, passions, and values that my parents passed on to me
What about you?

You know what I love about this post?? These are all realistic and yet so fulfilling!
my answer is already written up there: LIVE! and perhaps also, be truly happy (:
i love all your goals, lady! and like hollie said, they are attainable, substantial goals...
except tasting the rainbow, you silly girl.. i would change this to "do a cartwheel on a rainbow" because THAT seems more like you (; and i think it would be fun to try and chase a rainbow to try and cartwheel near/next/on/in it..
Love this! I hope you are able to do everything on your list!!
this is so cool. i might just have to make a trip to see this for myself. and i really gotta start my list. life's just too short. -mila

Great goals! I would love to swim with dolphins one day!
I think my main goal is to have a family and just live a life that I will be proud of when I'm older.

Do you know if that chalkboard wall is new? Is it on the side of the building facing the street? I've never seen that before and I've driven by it so many times! I stopped taking University ave to Park blvd and so I haven't been past it in a while. It's such a cool sign that I want to see it for myself!
Those are great things on the list though!
Before I die I want to...Good question. I haven't really thought about that. Well, I mean I have a little but not too much. Love your list. And I love the "punch a dolphin" one in the picture. Humorous
that wall is great! such a cool idea.
Before I die, I want to create a legacy that my kids can be proud of.
your goals are great! good luck in writing the book!
this is such a neat idea!! i'd love to swim with dolphins!!

xo the egg out west.
I love this wall and it makes me so sad to see the inappropriate comments :-/
I've driven by that board before and really want to actually look at it!!
become a mommy is my #1! just got married 2 months ago (which was my #2) so in a year or so we gotta work towards the babies ;D hmm...i want to be completely happy, own a house and go to Yellowstone! and if you do go swimming with the dolphins in Cancun and you have the option of swimming WITH vs sitting on the sidelines and going like belly button deep, pay the extra money and do the swim! my husband and i couldnt decide which to do in the Bahamas on our honeymoon but finally decided to pay $100 more each to be able to swim with them and it was sooo worth it and it was AMAZING!! we were right by the "encouter" group and they hardly got to touch the dolphins at all. soo worth the money!
This has been on my San Diego to do list for awhile, so it might pop up on my blog sometime soon too. :) And actually, I was just talking about this very thing over a campfire with friends this weekend. It seems the older I get, the more simple my goals are: seek joy, make a positive difference in the world, travel, become a mom someday, have a successful marriage...
Love your list!
Fall in love with someone who absolutely deserves my heart :)

I love it! Glad to hear it's making it's way around the country!
What an awesome find. It must have been so inspirational! Before I die I want to LIVE. I love that one. My goodness I don't even know how I would answer that question. Before I die I want to be a mom (not for a while...but it's something I know I want).
Aww so awesome!!
Where you're in Cancun, please don't Punch the Dolphin like the N°4 suggests ;)
That's an awesome chalkboard! I love your list too.
