Snooze.

So I brunched last weekend, twice.
I know, I know what's new? Long mimosa filled brunches make my life go round. Okay maybe I'm being slighty dramatic, but I really do enjoy them. =P

Sunday morning Olivia, Cara-Mia, and I met up at Snooze Eatery in Hillcrest.
Snooze Eatery just happens to be one of my very favorite brunch spots in San Diego. Scratch that, it is my favorite place to brunch in San Diego. I think Snooze has the very best breakfast food I've had in this city, and it also has the wait time to prove it. If you do go to Snooze be prepared for a (really) long wait. Apparently there are many people in this city who love Snooze as much as me.

I also really enjoy Snooze's mid-century moden decor. It's very "Mad Men". Speaking of which, does anyone else miss Mad Men as much as me?? I could really use some more Don Draper in my life....

Anyway back to Snooze
- Cara-Mia's french toast- Olivia Dee - hot chocolate, mocha, & a coffee -

Naturally, I am the one who ordered the kid's hot chocolate. Would you expect it to be any other way? (Not to worry, the 3 of us obviously indulged in mimosas while we were waiting to be seated. Come on, like we would go to brunch and not enjoy a mimosa? Psh)

My vanilla almond brulee oatmeal - Olivia's Chilaquiles Benedict - The "Coffee & Donuts" Pancakes that we all shared... they were insane

Snooze Eatery = really really good.
If you're in the mood for a great San Diego brunch you know where I think you should go =P

Hope you have a great day!

I have learned something! if you want some hot chocolate but not a lot of hot chocolate, go to Starbucks and ask for a "short" hot chocolate. it's the kid's size but with a grown-up name!

Um, yum! I'm so jealous that you get to hang out with Cara-Mia on the regular, and that she get's to hang out with you too! You make me want to move to San Diego and brunch all day. haha

This was by far the worst post to look at pre-breakfast. Now I just know that what ever my husband makes is NOT going to satisfy my hunger. Thanks a lot, girl. ;)

I love that it is called snooze, such a great name! And that food, if I wasn't hungry before I am now. I'm literally going to go make something to eat!

Snooze is in my top 5 brunch spots of all time. We went to the Snooze in Denver a few years ago & waited in line for over an hour to get in, I can still remember how amazing it was :)
