It Went A Little Something Like This

I wanted to first say thank you so so much for all your kind words and well wishes. Nadav and I are overwhelmed by the love we have received over the past few days and are so so excited to start this next chapter in our lives (ahhh!! It feels so good to say that =P) 

Thank you, thank you, and thank you some more.

I won't bore you with too many details but lets just say this proposal went down in typical Tammy & Nadav fashion. 

Some of the highlights....

- Before leaving to Santa Barbara Nadav researched places where he could propose. He decided on two locations, Butterfly Beach or Franceschi Park (a park high in the hills that overlooks the ocean and the city of Santa Barbara). He decided on Butterfly Beach.

- We drove into Santa Barbara and he suggested we check out Butterfly Beach. I put Butterfly Beach into our navigation and we started driving, and driving, and driving up into the hills.... away from the beach. 

"Nadav we're driving away from the beach. Let's drive back down the hill, I'll put Butterfly Beach into my phone's navigation system because your navigation system sucks."

"Nah, the view is pretty, lets keep going up the hill. There's gotta be a park around here or something."

"Nadav, lets stop. The view is so pretty I want to take pictures."

"No no, there's gotta be a park around here somewhere"

So we drive and we drive and I turn off the confused navigation system. 

"Oh yes, here's a park.. oh it's called Franceschi Park. Lets get out and check out the view"

We get out. I start taking photos, because I'm always trying to capture the pretty moments in life =) and Nadav suggests we start walking down a path so we can get away from the high school kids smoking you know what and eating oreos. We start walking and end up in a clearing that overlooked the ocean. 

"Tammy, stand over there I'll take some photos."

"Ok sure... uhm it's kinda muddy. I'm wearing boots. How about I stand over there??"

"No you're fine. It's pretty here. Turn around, I'll take some pictures of you."

"Okay okay, you're such a nice blogger boyfriend =P"

"Ok now turn towards me"

I turn around and....

"Oh my godddddd. What the F********?!?! Oh my god oh my god oh my goooodddd"

"Tammy, I love you (**Sparing you the mushy gushy details here hehe**).......... will you marry me?"

"Oh my god oh my god oh my godddd!!!"

"Wait is that a yes??"

"YES YES YESSSS! OH MY GOD YESSSS!"

"What hand does it go on??"

"Oh my gooddd I don't know? =P"

"You're a girl you should know these things hehe. Okay lets Google it."

I get out my phone and we Google which hand my engagement ring goes on...

I then shook for about 45 minutes, looked at my hand, looked at him, told him  how much I love him, hugged him/kissed him, looked at my hand, looked at him, told him how much I love him, looked at my hand, looked at him, hugged him/kissed him, looked at my hand, told him how much I love him, looked at him.
