Nadav and I love our little San Diego neighborhood, Bay Park. (Were you ever confused by my blog url and twitter handle: BayParkDream, well now you know. =P) Bay Park is a small little neighborhood overlooking Mission Bay that very few San Diegans are familiar with. It just happens to be about a 5 minute drive to the beach, and a 10 minute drive to La Jolla, Downtown, and Hillcrest. Basically it's kinda perfect, except that's it's not exactly a happening kinda place... yet.
Slowly though, hip little restaurants and bars are starting to pop up and I am so so happy about that.
Restaurants like Luce Bar & Kitchen. Last weekend, we made our way to Luce for a late lunch and holey to the moley this place is ridiculously good. The service is fantastic, the food is great, and the decor is a perfect combination of rustic and modern. The drinks also sounded delicious but we stayed away because we were both recovering from the flu and figured alcohol probably wouldn't help the situation. ;) Next time I'm there and healthy I will be all over the luce mule.

Um. I would be willing to fly out to Bay Park to try this place! Goodness it sounds amazing! And looks just adorable! And that mouth watering burger...um yeah. I feel like I need to book a flight. haha!

I'm not a big meat eater but that burger looks soooooo good!
I haven't tried any drinks yet either, but we went for dinner a month or so ago, and loved it. :) The cheese board was awesome. And we had the Sweet Pizza, OMG...so yummy!
