was a fake wedding, except it wasn't a completely fake wedding, but it was...
I know I know, confusing right?
The Not Wedding was a "staged wedding" meant to inspire brides and promote fabulous wedding vendors. Olivia and I had such a good time at this incredible event Tuesday night. The fake, but not fake wedding took place at the New Children's Museum (which surprise surprise makes for a beautiful wedding venue!). The ceremony really was heartfelt, the floral arrangements were pretty much my favorite, the dj was one of the best I have ever encountered (seriously I swear I said "I love this song" every single time he played a song), the food and appetizers were delicious, I indulged in some quality cakes and cupcakes, and the kicker.... 2 photo booths.
I left the event feeling inspired and so so excited to get married.

The couple that were "married" are actually already married, and have two kids. They renewed their vows at The Not Wedding which is pretty romantical if you ask me.
And this is why Olivia and I get along ;)

Point is, the whole event was awesome and Olivia and I were so happy to be a part of it.
Thanks Exquisite Weddings for extending the invitation to us. =)
And this is also why Olivia and I get along hehe
If a Not Wedding pops up in your area, GOOOOO. You will love it =)

So fun! How did you like the space? We're looking for a venue for our corporate holiday party (already!).
Sounds like fun. I never really thought of a wedding in the children's museum, but I totally see it now! :)
Heavenly Cupcakes are awesome...I used to eat WAY too many of them when I lived downtown!

This is so fun! I am already married but would love to go to one of these. And that flower arrangement is to die for!
oh this looks like so much fun! I need to start finding out about / attending events like this!!
This is great! Consider me inspired :) So many adorable details!
That looks like you had the best time. So great too going with a friend and getting to have fun and be inspired together. :)
Hope you can swing by and check out my post on being body positive: http://msmorgansrealitycheck.blogspot.com/2013/03/being-body-positivie.html
Is it okay to start dreaming of a "not wedding" when I'm not even in a relationship, let alone married yet?
It looks and sounds like it was such a beautiful and fun event!

What a sweet deal....actually smart is the word I was really looking for. It's a great setup benefitting brides (and grooms) and vendors alike. I love the picture of you and Olivia in the photo booth.
that's such a cool idea! the idea of a normal wedding expo kind of freaks me out, but the Not Wedding sounds really accessible and fun! yay :)
How much fun! The "bride" looked amazing!!!
