Friends.

Saturday morning I got together with Gina, Julie, and Emily for a little brunch in Oceanside.
I know I know, I met up with bloggers for brunch at a cute little restaurant... what's new?

But there was something that was a little different this time. I guess you could say I let all my defenses down and was my slightly [okay majorly] potty mouthed, slightly inappropriate, with a tendency towards TMI self felt extra "comfortable". Even if I had only met Julie once before, had never met Emily, and Gina and I get together about once every other month. ;)

I've always thought that if you're lucky, you meet a few people you really connect with in your lifetime. People who make you feel at ease, and let you really be yourself... even if you've only met them once, or a handful of times. I don't know what it is about blogging, but it just keeps bringing awesome people that I really connect with into my life.

I've realized that most of my closest friends in San Diego are bloggers. They're girls/ladies (I think we're all in that in between stage) who I talk to every single day, take trips with, and confide in.

I had no idea when I started this little blog that it would bring so many wonderful people into my life.

It's all kinds of awesome, and I'm grateful....
It's decided then, the internet is pretty cool place =P

it really is. i think my favorite moment was when you said something like 'every time i am around you we talk about the craziest things!' welcome to my life :).

I was born and raised in Oceanside. It has changed so much! What restaurant did you go to? Good friends are hard to find. I think it's great that you make time to get together with them even though life can get so busy sometimes.

I absolutely love blogger meet ups. The friends I talk to on the most regular basis are blog friends, which kinda stinks since none of my blog friends are local. Sacramento isn't a big blogger city I guess. Lol anyways, I love Emily, I'm sure you did too!

Amen! Two of my best friends are former "blog friends" turned "real life" friends. After a year of the three of us chatting online and over the phone we finally all met up at one of the gal's homes and had a four day weekend - it was amazing! I can't imagine my life without them now :)

That's so cool. That down side of living where I do is that, while a lot of women "blog" there are very few who really considering themselves bloggers. I often feel kind of a lone in that. SO glad you have ladies who get you!
