Parks & Recs

My occupational therapy grad school friends and I, well we we've been through a lot. I guess when you've experienced two and a half of the most stressful years of your lives together you tend to develop a bond.
We've also all chosen a career in which we help people, and specifically kids. My grad school friends, well they're good people, and I'm lucky to have them in my life. A few of us even live less than 15 minutes away from each other, but more often than not, life gets in the way and months go by before we see each other.
Last month we reunited at the AOTA convention, and promised to spend more time together, and surprise surprise.. we are following through with that promise.

Saturday a few of us spent a beautiful afternoon at Balboa Park.

This last photo and the next one are a result of me trying to learn how to use the manual settings on my camera. You gotta learn somehow, right? =P

Love the polka dot shorts! I am embarrassed to admit that I've never been to Balboa Park, even when we lived downtown! Looks fun though!

It's great that you are making time to stay in touch with friends. It's so hard to do as life gets busier and busier, but it's so important. Thanks for the reminder!
