Oh 4th of July Weekend

Oh 4th of July long weekend, you were so good to me.
Beach time, best friends, making memories with my man, an early birthday celebration, sushi, and burritos (Yup, we ate Mexican food while watching the 4th of July fireworks =P).

Well 4th of July weekend you were good to me if you don't count that seriously slightly traumatic experience when I realized the city of Coronado had towed my car on the 4th of July.
Oh and that moment I had to hand over my credit card and pay $305 to the tow company to get my car back.
(Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Hits forehead really really really hard)

Ya 4th of July weekend, you were really really good to me, even if you left me drained (and poor). =P
I spent all of Sunday recovering on the couch, and I felt good about it. Well, except for the few moments I looked out the window and was hit with pangs of "I really should be outside enjoying the beautiful day." To which I popped a piece of chocolate in my mouth (What? You've never spent an entire day on the couch recovering on the couch with Trader Joe's chocolate? Well, you should try it sometime hehe), turned back to whatever Rick Steve's episode I was watching, and felt A.O.K. because sometimes we all need a day to just sit and be super duper lazy.

Wishing you a really really happy week

I had sushi on the 4th of July as well :) I see having Japanese & Mexican food on the 4th as a way of celebrating America's incredible diversity... right? ;)

4th of July in San Diego is the best! Our got rained out. That would never happen in SD!

OMG that sucks! Not the whole long weekend thing but the car towing thing. I spent Sunday on the couch too.

Great pics! And yes, sometimes a day on the couch with chocolate is a MUST.
