Backpacking Travel Style

Hi Lemons Avocados and the Bay readers! It’s Lisa from MonaLisaMarie.com. While Tammy is spending a romantic trip away in Italy and Paris, I thought it would only be fitting to write about the essential pieces to take on a Summer European trip. Since I helped Tammy pack, I made sure to pick out neutral and comfy pieces, but also items that can also be transitioned from day to night, all while making sure everything can fit in one backpack.

1)      A hat is necessary for those hot days or dirty hair coverage: JCrew Baseball Hat
2)      Cargo pants are good for variable weather conditions and for hiking through the coliseum: Current/Elliot Chino Pants
3)       A neutral tank top is perfect for the European humidity: Joie Tank Top
4)      Sunnies – nuf said: Madewell Hepcat Shades
5)      A light jacket is great for cool evenings: Madewell Parka
6)      A chambray top is perfect for layering: JCrew Shirt
7)      Why not bring two tank tops since they  don’t take up much room: Mossimo Cotton Tank
8)      A roomy bag is perfect for your camera and souvenirs: Madewell Transport Tote
9)      Colorblock sandals are great for touring around town and they match with everything: JCrew T-Strap Sandals
10)   Light colored shorts are summery and comfy: JCrew Chino Shorts
11)   A striped tee is classic and lightweight: JCrew Tee
12)   A basic white tee is a perfect essential that goes with everything : Topshop Tee
13)   A leather holder is a must for keeping your passport protected: JCrew Passport Case
14)   Converse are comfy enough to wear for long tours: Converse All Star
15)   Jean short can easily be wore for multiple days without washes: AG Boyfriend Shorts

16)   Lastly, a sundress is perfect for day with converse or with a chambray and sandals for dinner: Madewell Cami Dress

Thanks Lisa, I really am lucky to have a friend like you! I really appreciate all your help :)
