silliness research? Well it brought us to 1500 Ocean at the Hotel Del Coronado last Friday night. The whole experience was wonderful. Great service, a beautiful ocean view, and such delicious food.
Oh and, 1500 Ocean is offering their restaurant week menu for one more week! You have until September 27 to indulge in this goodness. Gooooooooooo!
My rhubarb & rose cocktail. SO GOOD.
Stuffed squash blossoms. I wasn't planning on ordering this appetizer but our waitress said it was her very favorite, and she was right on. The squash had such great flavor, I've never had anything like it before.
Oh and Nadav's beef carpaccio?? Out of this world delicious!
Okay so my man likes red meat. He chose the natural beef ribeye for his entree. It tasted as good as it looks.
Seared diver scallops. Yes, they also tasted as good as they looked ;)
chocolate polenta cake and vanilla bean creme brulle
(The chocolate cake was okay, but the vanilla bean creme brulle was bomb)
