On our second morning in Sorrento we woke up, looked at each other, and silently agreed that the plans we had made for the day were about to go kaput. Sure, going to Capri, braving the tourist crowds, and seeing the Blue Grotto would have been really special but....
Spending the day at a small private spiaggia (beach in Italian) was really what we needed to do.
So we had a long and lazy breakfast, put on our suits, and headed straight to the beach.
Hours past, we both get a whole lot darker (there's no tan like a Mediterranean tan =P), and I just felt so grateful for this man who loves me and goes on crazy journeys with me. He's a good one, a really good one.
We shared an ice cream cone for lunch and read up on our next destination, Positano.
In the evening we walked down to the marina and had a romantic, and incredibly delicious dinner at Ristorante Bagni Delfino. It was absolutely one of the best meals we had in Italy.
Bruschetta, calamari, and seafood gnocchi
Happy Day.. oh and if you're celebrating Rosh Hashana like me, Shana Tova :)
