Saturday morning I woke up all early like in my childhood bed (yes we were at my parentals for the weekend), made my way to Fashion Island, and got beautified for our engagement shoot in Joshua Tree by the oh so talented Emily Reiter of Anna Delores Photography.
I started my morning at Drybar, had the BEST blowdry, and then walked to Blushington to get my makeup done. Blushington is pretty much the same (AWESOME) concept as Drybar. You walk in, are presented with a book of 6 makeup looks, pick which one suits your fancy, sit down in a cozy chair and get all dolled up. My makeup artist was FANTASTIC, and the girl at the front desk was so nice (and didn't get annoyed when I bombarded her before they had even opened for the day with a request to get my makeup done even though I did not have an appointment.)
Point is, it's pretty much the perfect place for someone who is helpless when doing their own makeup (cough, like me). Okay, and then someone had to go and put Blushington and Drybar right next door to each other?! Geniusss
Now if only Blushington would would open up in San Diego....!!
