She stopped me at some point and asked, "So are you having your dream wedding?". I looked at her and realized, that yes I really am having my dream wedding!
How crazy is that?! Our wedding is not going to be glamorous, or even in a ballroom, but it's going to be absolutely beautiful and so so us. What more could I ask for?
(Okay side note, Nadav and I had originally dreamed of getting married in Maui or Israel, but due to some silly technical difficulties that is not happening. However, as far as San Diego dream weddings go, I am getting exactly what I had always wished for. =P)
From the most amazing man that I am finally going to marry, the oceanviews, the details of each place setting, a gorgeous chuppah, to the funky photo booth, and a traditional Jewish ceremony. I really am having my dream wedding, and it's somehow all in our (tight!) budget. Aaahhh, there is such wonderfulness in having awesome wedding planners, they make staying within budget and having a beautiful wedding possible.
Some additional thoughts....
1. Don't settle for a wedding planner just because they're a bit cheaper if they don't have experience and don't seem as helpful from the get-go. It's just not worth it, and they'll end up causing you more grief in the end. (Cough personal experience here, but at least we got rid of the old one)
2. I'm itching to share more about our wedding with you, but it doesn't feel quite right. There is something great to keeping some things private until it is the right time to share, and I've put our wedding into that box. Deets coming your way in July. =P
